HangarFleet provides aircraft fleet tracking, notification, and account tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and how to contact us about your information.

Depending on how you use HangarFleet, we may collect:

• Account information, such as your name, email address, login details, company or organization details, and account preferences.
• Aircraft and fleet information, such as tail numbers, aircraft hex codes, nicknames, home airports, notification settings, and fleet membership.
• Live and historical aircraft data used to display aircraft positions, status, takeoff and landing history, and alerts.
• Notification information, such as email preferences, push notification tokens, notification history, and delivery metadata.
• Device and app information, such as device identifiers used for push notifications, app version, operating system, and basic diagnostics.
• Support information, such as messages you send to us and information needed to respond to your request.
• Security and technical information, such as IP address, browser type, server logs, session cookies, and Cloudflare or hosting security logs.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, secure, and improve HangarFleet.
• Authenticate users and protect accounts.
• Display fleet data, aircraft status, maps, and history.
• Send takeoff, landing, account, password reset, and service-related notifications.
• Troubleshoot issues, monitor reliability, and prevent abuse.
• Respond to support, privacy, security, or legal requests.
• Comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms of Use.

Notifications and Email

HangarFleet may send service-related emails and push notifications, including takeoff and landing alerts, password reset emails, account notices, and operational messages. You can manage aircraft notification preferences in the app or account interface where available.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The public landing page does not use marketing cookies at this time. The logged-in app may use essential cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, and session management. Cloudflare and hosting providers may process technical information for security, performance, and abuse prevention.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information with:

• Service providers that help operate HangarFleet, such as hosting, DNS, security, database, email delivery, and push notification providers.
• Aviation data providers and infrastructure used to retrieve, process, or display aircraft position and status data.
• Account administrators or authorized users within the same fleet or organization.
• Authorities, regulators, or other parties when required by law, legal process, security, or safety needs.
• Successors if HangarFleet is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Third-Party Services

HangarFleet may rely on third-party services such as hosting providers, Cloudflare, Apple Push Notification service, email delivery providers such as Amazon SES, app distribution platforms, and aviation data sources. Those services may process information according to their own policies when they provide services to us.

Aircraft Data

Aircraft position and status data may come from public, community, private, or third-party aviation data feeds. This data can be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. We use aircraft data to provide fleet awareness and notifications, not for safety-critical operations.

Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide HangarFleet, maintain account records, operate notifications and history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service. Retention periods may vary by data type.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Requests

You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other assistance with your information. Some requests may require identity verification, and some information may need to be retained for security, legal, billing, or operational reasons.

Children's Privacy

HangarFleet is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
